1. The productivity of graphite electrode decreases year by year.

2. Turning Point of Graphite Electrode Industry

3. Scrap-EAF Steel Enters Dividend Period

According to the Regulation Policy for Iron and Steel Industry (Revised in 2015) (Draft for Consultation) issued by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology on March 20, 2015, it is clearly required, & quot; to encourage the promotion of short-process steelmaking technology and equipment using scrap steel as raw material. By 2025, the ratio of steel-making scrap to steel-making scrap in China's iron and steel enterprises will be no less than 30%, and the scrap steel processing and distribution system will be basically established-quot;.

In order to achieve this goal, the 13th Five-Year Development Plan of Scrap Iron and Steel Industry formulated by China Scrap Iron and Steel Application Association put forward that by 2020, the scrap steel ratio of steel-making in China will be quot; the 12th Five-Year-quot; and the doubling will reach 20%. In 2016, the ratio of steel scrap to steel scrap in China is 6%, which is far from the target set by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology and the Association.
